Subject introduction
Internship and Project Work: This practical capstone module requires LL.B. final-year students to undergo a mandatory 21-day immersive professional placement with experienced advocates, courts, tribunals, regulatory bodies, or recognized human rights NGOs. Designed to bridge classroom theory with actual legal practice, the internship requires students to maintain a detailed diary and submit a certified project report that is evaluated for university grades. Students are strictly bound by professional codes of conduct, including punctuality, confidentiality, proper dress codes, and formal joining reports, ensuring they cultivate professional ethics and practical competency before entering the legal profession.

INTERNSHIP AND PROJECT WORK
Second Compulsory Internship of LL.B. IIIrd year (Vth Semester) Examination for a duration which shall be THREE weeks (21 days)-
The Internship shall be with any one of the following:
- I) Advocate with minimum 10 years standing at the Bar.
II) Any court or Tribunal or any judicial Academy.
III) Any Regulatory Body.
VI) Any Registered NGO working for Rights/Police Academy.
➢ Each student shall submit an Internship Diary and Project Report on the Internship duly certified by the Advocate.

➢ Each project report shall be evaluated by the Examiner appointed by the chairman, Board of Studies in Law, Satavahana University for award of Grades Viz., Excellent-A, Very Good-B, Good-C or Satisfactory-D.
➢ The Grades secured in Internship & Project shall be included in the marks memo of the semester respectively.
➢ The Project Reports shall be submitted in the Examination Branch.
➢ All the other conditions stated above shall be applicable to the second Internship and project. The grades shall be included in the marks of marks memo of the Vᵗʰ Semester.
➢ The grades awarded for the internship and project reports cannot be considered for the award of division.
➢ The project reports shall be submitted in the examination branch by the concerned college along with the grades given.
➢ During internship, student shall observe the internal rules of the organisation and shall be mindful or the reputation of the law college and Satavahana University. Any misconduct during the said period viewed seriously and dealt according to the code of conduct.
➢ Decent dress code, etiquette, punctuality, discipline, cordiality, professionalism, confidentiality and integrity shall be followed by the student/intern during the internship.
➢ A joining report specifying the name of the candidate and the date of joining;
- a) On the organisations/employees letter head with signature of the supervisor, or
An email form the supervisor to the faculty In Charge, shall be sent within one week of the reporting to the organization/ employer.
